Terms

Terms of service

How a build runs, what it costs, and who owns what at the end. Plain English, because you'd have to read it either way.

Last updated 17 September 2026

The agreement

These terms cover work done by AllTradie, of Adelaide, South Australia. They apply once you accept a written quote from me. If your quote says something different to a term here, the quote wins.

Quotes and prices

The numbers on this site are starting prices. Your written quote is fixed for 30 days and lists exactly what's in it. Prices include GST.

The instant quote in the live example is a demonstration of how your own site would quote your customers. It isn't a quote for you.

Paying

  • Half up front to hold your build slot, half when the site goes live.
  • Invoices are due in 7 days, by bank transfer.
  • Anything outside the quote gets quoted separately and approved by you before I start it.

What I need from you

Your photos, your price list, and answers when I ask for them. You're responsible for the accuracy of the prices, licence numbers and claims you give me to publish.

A build stalled waiting on your material for more than 60 days goes back in the queue, and restarting may mean a new slot.

Timeframes

Two to three weeks from the day I have your photos and your price list. Dates are estimates, and the honest hold-up is almost always the photos.

Who owns what

Once the final invoice is paid, the site, the copy and the design are yours. The domain is registered in your name and your ABN from day one, and files are handed over on request.

Your photos and your content stay yours throughout. I keep the rights to the underlying quoting tool and any third-party components, both licensed to you for use on your site for as long as you run it.

Hosting, changes and cancelling

Hosting and care are billed monthly and you can stop any time with 30 days' notice. Nothing locks you in, and there are no exit fees.

If you cancel a build after it starts, the deposit covers the work done to that point. If I cancel, you get back anything you've paid for work not delivered.

The limits

I'll fix anything I've built that doesn't work as agreed, free, for 90 days after handover. I can't promise particular rankings, traffic or enquiry numbers, and I'm not liable for outages at services I don't run.

Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise my liability is capped at what you paid me. These terms are governed by the law of South Australia.

Something here you'd want changed before you sign? Say so on the call. Read the privacy policy.
